Opisthokonta (grč.: ὀπίσθιος - opístios = zadnji, stražnji + κοντός - kontós = "pol", tj. bič) su široka grupa eukariota , uključujući carstva životinja i gljiva.[1] Opisthokonta, prethodno su označavane kao grupa "Fungi/Metazoa,[2] a općenito su prepoznavane kao kladus. Opisthokonta skupa sa Apusomonadida i Breviata čine veći kladus Obazoa.[3][4][5][6][7]
